ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL

HASTINGS HIGH SCHOOL

• 1.0 FTE Assistant Principal effective January 1, 2025
• NYSED SBL or SAS certificate required
• Assistant Principal, department chairperson, instructional coach or other building level administrative experience highly preferred
• Possess the following leadership attributes as stated in the Portrait of a Hastings Learner (POHL): bold, collaborative, empathetic, empowered, inquisitive, inventive
• Possess a strong foundation and knowledge of high school practices, based on research and data, to transform curriculum, instruction, and assessment to ensure the success of all high school learners
• Assist in developing, implementing and evaluating instructional programs and activities
• Experience managing master scheduling
• Model and maintain high standards of professional conduct and public relations
• Demonstrated record of collaborating with stakeholders (administrators, teachers, staff, students and parents)
• Commitment to culturally responsive leadership, teaching, and learning
• Experience in Restorative Practices
• NYSED Fingerprint Clearance required
• Salary Range: $133,130-$138,509
